Once we got off the tarmac the flight was a great. Unfortunately though. Due to bad weather and then a mix up with hold luggage we were delayed by almost 12 hours

We were unable to book seats that meant my disabled husband was in a seat he could easily get to, with some dignity, and where he would not pose a danger to others in an emergency situation. I'm our flight from Manchester there was a passenger who was almost entirely paralysed in a mid-plane seat. I find this wholly unacceptable. The assistance we booked was not communicated to the airport staff and we were significantly delayed waitin for it to be sorted out, making our time at Manchester very stressful. When we left Reykjavik we had a much better experience. They upgraded my husband to a seat right at the front so he was both comfortable and not a danger to other passengers if an evacuation was necessary. Icelandair was comfortable for myself and our daughter.
