Flew Luton to Cluj (Romania) Thu out and Mon back. Check in at Luton was efficient including partner's outsize luggage (bike box). Flight take off was well after schedule (not loaded on time and then missed ATC window so additional wait (on the ground)) and we arrived a bit late. Offload of luggage was prompt (Cluj airport not busy). On return to UK rather inefficient check-in desks at Cluj. Again late to be called to board late to take off so delayed arrival at Luton where wind shift forced an aborted landing adding another 15 minutes to lateness of arrival - about 90 minutes late compared to scheduled ETA of 1235. Had only cabin bags so away quickly to M25 'car park'.
Both flights delayed. Not much information given as to why there was a delay. Also it was very uncomfortable having to stand at the departure gate for so long.
