Getting there
Cheap flights to the Netherlands are not hard to com by as it is well connected by air. KLM are one of the main airlines, but some of the other air carriers include:

Airports
Schiphol Airport (AMS), near Amsterdam, is the main international airport where most cheap flights to Amsterdam are destined. Rotterdam Airport (RTM) is much smaller but has handy links to the UK, Germany, and Mediterranean destinations.
When to go
Peak season is from early April to mid-May when the tulips are in bloom, and between July and August when there are school vacations. To get cheap flights to the Netherlands be sure to book tickets well in advance. In winter cheap flights to Amsterdam are easier to come by and cafes are less busy.
Picturesque national parks, lots of greenery, quaint coffee houses and masses of museums make the Netherlands a must see. Amsterdam and Rotterdam are the cultural highlights, with much to do in each. Nothing, however, beats hiring a bike and seeing the country in the open.
