I felt a bit patronised by the hostess in Heathrow when she asked me if I was able to speak and understand English enough to be seated in the Emergency Exit seats. The fact I have an Italian passport should not necessarily mean I cannot speak English and I believe the question could have been asked in a different manner: more politely and less patronising.
