AtlasGlobal was founded in 2001 and has its headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey at the Istanbul Atatürk Airport. The airline was previously known as Atlasjet Airlines, but was renamed in 2015. The company is a member of the International Air Transport Association, and operates flights to many international destinations including London, Doha and Paris. The airline flies to over 22 domestic and international destinations and has a fleet size of 18 aircrafts.

AtlasGlobal undertakes a range of domestic flights, including those that were carried over when it was renamed. The majority of the flights available are domestic flights to other Turkish destinations such as Antalya, Trabzon and Konya. The airline also serves a number of Iranian destinations such as Tehran as well as top European destinations including Amsterdam, Stockholm and Zürich. AtlasGlobal has three ssubsidiaries which are as follows: AtlasGlobal Ukraine, Jet One and Zagrosjet.

Online check-in

Online check-in is open 48 hours before the scheduled flight and remains open up to 90 minutes before take-off. In order to be able to print off the boarding pass, passengers checking in online should include their Atlasmiles card number while reserving their tickets, or alternatively buy their tickets using the 3D Secure System.

It is also possible to check in at the airport by using one of the check-in kiosk machines. It takes less than a minute to complete the process and passengers can select their seat and receive a printed boarding pass. Check in for domestic flights should be completed at least 30 minutes before departure and no later than 1 hour before the departure time for international flights.

Hand luggage allowance

Passengers flying with AtlasGlobal are able to take hand baggage as long as it doesn't exceed 25 x 45 x 56 cm or weigh any more than 8 kg. Baggage larger or heavier than the allowed size and weight will count as hold luggage and be stored under the cabin. Passengers should ensure that a name and address label is included on the outside and inside of their baggage.

Musical instruments are allowed on board as long as they do not exceed the allowed hand baggage size and weight. Liquids are allowed to be carried in hand baggage as long as the contents do not exceed 100ml each.

Checked baggage allowance

The free baggage allowance for passengers flying with AtlasGlobal can vary depending on the flight route, therefore it is recommended for passengers to check the relevant allowance stipulations before arriving at the airport. Differences in the free baggage allowance could also apply to the type of flight taken, depending whether it is a domestic flight or an international flight.

Baggage that exceeds the total weight or size limit may not be accepted or may incur additional charges. Strictly 1 set of ski equipment or golf clubs can be taken free of charge. Any additional equipment or other types of special items may incur a charge.
