8. Donetsk, Ukraine
Things to see: Lenin Square (Ploschad Lenina), the Pushkina Boulevard and the Forged Figures Park located in the Voroshilov district. It’s also a good idea to walk around the river Kalmius with its relaxing green areas.
Trivia: It’s the fourth largest city in Ukraine and allegedly the “world’s cleanest industrial city” (according to UNESCO).
Useful information: The Donetsk International Airport is located 8 km north of the city centre and offers daily flights to Kiev.
Where to celebrate: Three large screens will be installed in the Sherbakova Park, which will be open from 12pm to 2am.
Stadium: Donbass Arena, capacity 50,000 spectators.
