The Oistins Friday night Fish fry is a must for those looking to experience an authentic Bajan experience.

Every Friday around 6 pm, locals and visitors go to the historical town of Oistins to eat freshly cooked seafood (tuna, swordfish, marlin, mahi-mahi, flying fish, crab, lobster), sample the local rum and listen to music (sometimes even Live music). It’s a great place to have an informal evening.

Rum tasting

You can taste the local rum all around the island but if you want to learn all about their signature rum, visit Mount Gay.

They’ll tell you all about the historic origins of the brand and their distillation, ageing and blending techniques. Plus, free tasting at the end of the tour!
