If your plane is taking off from Midway International Airport, you can simply hop on the Orange Line train from Central Chicago to reach the airport. This journey should take around 25 minutes. You can also take taxis and buses from various parts of the Loop to the airports. As Chicago is a large city, the ride can be expensive depending on your starting point.

Flights to New York from Chicago take around two hours. If you land at LaGuardia Airport or John F. Kennedy Airport all you need to do is take the New York City Subway to reach Lower Manhattan quickly. Another option is to change trains if you need to reach a different destination in the city. If you land at Newark Liberty International Airport, you will need to remember that it is located in New Jersey State. From there, you will have to take either a taxi or an express bus to reach various locations in New York City.
