Not really happy with check in at Manchester
Like Etihad as an airline. The only real negative is the boarding procedure. Supposed to be by zones which would see the passengers at the rear of the plane board first which is common sense but Etihad allowed a bun fight free for all. Consequently you had aged passengers seated at the front sections of the plane blocking aisles as they found their seat and stowed their hand luggage. It really is poor leadership by the ground staff at the gate. They are passive and allow the passengers to dictate boarding. I would recommend that at least one fate staff take charge of boarding and that they wear a personal microphone that can be heard by waiting passengers and then board as per zones.
Necessary evil .
Price of ticket for Christmas/Newyear travel extortionate
Flights we on schedule and very good however they only came round with drinks once and we had to pester the flight attendants to supply us with extra.
OK but not happy you charged for using a credit card which is illegal
Awful food and bad attendance by the staff. Waiting 20-30mins every-time an attendant was called. The food was so bad that my partner and I bought our own food to take on the flight on the way back. Etihad have recently cut costs with their food and you now only get the bare minimum - no sides with the main now just some stale bread.
Should offer drinks more oftenly plz
This wa my first time flying with the airline having paid a premium for the flight tickets. first impressions were the aircraft looked outdated carpet looked old and stained. The aircraft was blowing hot air during the course of the flight not to mention screaming babies on the plane. The airline exploited the seats as one person bought a row of 4 seats instead of spacing out passengers on flight. The food was terrible had chicken lamb and vegetarian options all were flavourless and bland. The stewardess served the food then skipped to offer drinks. This happened on two occasions. Additionally there were no drinks service which left me dehydrated I’d expect them to come round to offer drinks at least 3 times during the long haul flight which other airlines I’ve flown have do so.
Airline crew the most unhelpful I have ever found.
Did not have food at all. Had one bite it was tasteless. Landing was very harsh.
Flight got cancelled and there was no help at all at Manchester airport.
