It was the directions for the bus service to the carparks that was confusing. We had to wIt in the Ivey cold for half an hour for the bus connection.

In comparison with Cape Town and Doha, Manchester came a very poor third. There was a long walk from the plane to passport control and the travelator was not in operation. Similarly, there was a long way to walk to the taxi pick-up point although I do appreciate that might improve once the construction work is complete. i am always ashamed that travellers are expected to pay for luggage trolleys. Visitors from abroad rarely have coins and even though a change machine is provided I feel this is a very fiddly and unwelcome arrival.
