Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) is the main airport serving the city. Flights from Lisbon to Liverpool take about 2 hours and 35 minutes and arrive at Liverpool Airport. The airport is located just 14km from the Liverpool city centre, about 25 minutes' drive if travelling by car.
There are several transport options available for transfer from the airport to the city centre. Upon your arrival, you can go to the nearest railway station at the airport for a train ride through Traveline or TransPennine Express for transfer to the city centre or outside the city. Bus transport also runs from the airport to the city centre.

A bit confusing - so much duty free bling and hard to see signs for gates - good giving indication of time it will take to get there - more electronic walkways would help for those with bad hips like me!

Manchester Airport is grossly inefficient. Understaffed.
Waited 10 minutes for steps on arrival back then none for back door. Waited 25 minutes for bus to long stay car park (after communication). When leaving car park same driver of the bus having a smoke!
