Flights departing from London

London is known all over the world for its Big Ben, London Bridge, and Buckingham Palace. This mega city is served by Heathrow, Luton and several other airports. Of these, Gatwick and Heathrow are the most widely recognised airports internationally.

Flights from London to Liverpool do not take a long time to reach their destination, and may take off from any of the six airports that currently serve London. Gatwick Airport is the second most important airport in London and has the world's busiest single runway. Heathrow is more popular and also one of the busiest airports in Europe.

Getting to London airport

London to Liverpool flights may take off from any of the six airports that are scattered in and around the city of London. To ensure that you arrive at the correct airport, double check your flight ticket. Once you confirm the airport from where your flight will take off, make the necessary travel arrangements. For all the airports except London City Airport, you just need to arrive in central London and take a train from one of the many stations to the designated airport. However, as London City Airport is located within the city, you can just hail a cab or hop on one of those famous double-decker buses that run in London.

Arriving to Liverpool

Liverpool is located in north west England and is one of the most beautiful cities in Great Britain. Begin your day at Liverpool city centre, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Head toward Albert Dock, where you can catch a glimpse of the boats that are waiting to sail. Spend some time at Victoria Street, which houses some of the most important buildings of the city. Castle Street is a great place to do some shopping and so are Old Hall Street and Dale Street. Discover the music scene of Liverpool in its bars and clubs, as this city is known for being one of the music capitals of the world.

How to get to the city centre

Flights to Liverpool from London land at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which is located just 12 kilometres from the city centre. Take buses 80A or 86A to reach Merseyrail Hunts Cross station. Money grabbing. Pay for drop off at terminal & pick up. Dispicable behaviour! Forcing clients to pay to use a necessary facility.

Security was chaotic and not well managed. If I had known I would have checked-in my carry on baggage as well. Lesson is to travel light through Manchester Airport Security
