Awful experience through departure at Edinburgh Airport, in spite of arriving two hours before the flight. Hundreds of us in a queue all the way from the entrance - up the stairs, then into chaos. Far too many of us trying to access security. Actually, I had travelled to the airport the previous evening to check in my bag and asked whether Ryanair would allow me to take my trumpets on board. Was informed that I should have purchased Priority Boarding to be able to do this, however that option had sold out. Apparently everyone buys it, in order to take their bag on board.Passengers' luggage had to be removed from the flight because they had obviously not made it through departure.
