Getting to and from the airport

Paris is known for being one of the fashion capitals of the world, while also being a popular tourist destination. The city is served by a well-developed infrastructure that connects it in short time with the rest of France, Europe and many international destinations.

Flights from Paris to Amsterdam may take off from any of the four airports that are located in the city. If you are flying from Orly or Charles de Gaulle, you may be able to reach them very quickly as these airports are located well within the city limits. However, if your plane is taking off from Chalons Vatry or Beauvais-Tille, you will have to travel for a longer time before you take your flight.

Getting to Paris airport

Paris to Amsterdam flights don't take long. If your plane is taking off from Chalons Vatry or Beauvais-Tille, you will have to start well in advance. Moreover, these airports are connected by trains and shuttle buses from Central Paris as they are far away from the city. On the other hand, Orly Airport, which is located very close to the city centre, is connected by trams, buses, taxis and trains. You just have to take Tramway T7 or an RATP bus. Another option is to get on an RER B train. To get to Charles de Gaulle Airport, you can take an easyBus or an RER B train.

How to get to the city centre

Flights to Amsterdam from Paris take around 1 hour 15 minutes to reach Schiphol Airport. The easiest way to get to the city centre from the airport is to take a train and get off at the Amsterdam Central Station. Another option is to take the special Amsterdam Airport shuttle, which is run by Connexxion. If you want to take a bus to the city centre, hop on bus 197. If you wish to proceed towards Amsterdam South, hop on bus 310. There are also several taxis available outside the airport and they are great if you are going to the interior of Amsterdam.
