Getting to and from the airport

Stansted Airport, located approximately 64km from Central London at the northeast end, is the furthest of the five main airports of London from the city centre. It has a single terminal building. The airport offers a myriad of restaurants at which you can dine while awaiting your much anticipated and thrilling flight to Budapest. Flights from London to Budapest can be found at the departures area on the ground floor. London City Airport, located approximately 22 minutes away (11km) at the Royal Docks in Newham borough on the east side of London. This airport offers free Wi-Fi services which you can enjoy while you await your flight to Budapest.

Getting to London airport

Getting to Stansted Airport is no problem at all; catch the Stansted Express either at Stratford station or London Underground Victoria Line and make your journey to the airport on time to catch London Budapest flights on the ground floor of the terminal building. The Stansted Express runs every 15 minutes and takes less than an hour from Central London to the airport. You can also catch the National Express that are located at Victoria Coach Station and operate 24 hours. If you are going to London City Airport, catch a train to the airport on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) underground tube system. You can also catch a taxi.

Budapest is the fascinating capital of Hungary. You can start by taking a walk on the banks of the Danube River, which is not your average waterway. It is estimated to be as wide as 640m and it runs through Budapest from north to south. There is a commemoration for the Jews that were killed in WWII in the form of six pairs of steel sculpted shoes which lie along the river bank. How to get to the city centre

Flights to Budapest from London will arrive at Budapest Airport, officially known as Budapest Ferenc Liszt Airport. It is located approximately 16km from the city centre to the southeast end. It has one terminal which is divided into two: Terminals 2A and 2B. The quickest way to reach the city centre is by taxi, but there is also the Budapest Airport Minibus. It operates as a door-to-door shuttle. There is no immediate train to take you from the airport but there are individual transfers which are door-to-door shuttle services which can be booked via email or phone.
