Flights departing from London
London has five main international airports, two of which are Gatwick Airport and Stansted Airport. The former is the second largest and busiest airport after Heathrow (by far the busiest in London) while the latter is the third busiest Airport (after Gatwick and Heathrow). Gatwick Airport has North and South terminals, whereas Stansted Airport only has one terminal building.
Gatwick has a single runway that sees more traffic than most airports in London. Stansted also has a single runway, much like Gatwick. Both airports offer comfortable lounges where you can wait while you await flights from London to Hamburg.
