London is one of the most beautiful cities in the planet and is known for its palaces, medieval buildings and historical monuments. It is served by many airports including Luton, Stansted, and Southend airports. However, Gatwick and Heathrow airports are the most famous and also the busiest airports of London.
Flights from London to Stuttgart may take off from any of the six passenger airports of London. Gatwick Airport is located 48km away, whereas Heathrow Airport is just 22km away from the city centre. Other airports are much farther away from the city, except London City Airport, which is in the city limits.
Getting to London airport
London Stuttgart flights usually take off from either Heathrow or Gatwick Airports. However, be sure to check the airport on your flight itinerary, as they may also take off from Luton, Stansted or London City Airports. To get to Heathrow, hop on Heathrow Express from Paddington Station. From Victoria Station, take a train to Gatwick Airport. To get to other airports, arrive at one of the many train stations in Central London and purchase a ticket to your designated airport, as all airports are easily connected by trains. London City Airport is easily reached by buses or taxis, as it is within the city.
