Located in Elche Municipality, this airport is nine miles southwest of Alicante.
You can navigate to and from the airport by bus, taxi or private car. Take the road N-338 if you're coming by car which connects to the airport, or take the Alicante - Alicante Airport bus route. Taxis are available at a fare of around $19 to $23 to and from Alicante. There is no connecting train service at the moment.

The airport is about 27km south east of Murcia with a couple of road transportation options for getting around the city.
