Many cheap flights to Valencia arrive at Valencia Airport, which is also known as Manises Airport. It is the eighth busiest airport in Spain in terms of passenger traffic and the second busiest airport on a regional basis; this airport has one terminal to handle arrivals and departures.
The airport is located 8km from the city centre of Valencia.
Due to the proximity of the airport to the city centre, there are regular buses that run from downtown to the airport and back. The ride on the MetroBus takes 45 minutes whilst Aerobus, which is a shuttle service, will last 20 minutes. A metro network also connects the airport to the city. Hop on lines 3 and 5 which is a mere 15-minute ride to Manesis Airport. In addition to public transportation, you can take a taxi or drive on the Autovia A-3 or Autovia A-7 motorways which connect to other major cities in the country, such as Madrid and Barcelona.
