Passengers on flights to Tel Aviv will land at Ben Gurion International Airport (otherwise known as Natbag), the largest and busiest international airport in Israel.
A number of airlines operate cheap flights to Tel Aviv including: El Al Israel Airlines, Israir Airlines and British Airways.
Ben Gurion International Airport is located about nine miles from Tel Aviv city centre and around 25 miles from Jerusalem.
There are numerous ways to travel from Ben Gurion International Airport to Tel Aviv city centre. By road, the airport is located on Highway 1, which is the main Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway. Taxis are available outside the arrivals hall. There are a number of public transport options including the train, run by Israeli Railways, located on Level S or the Egged bus service lines run to a variety of destinations from the El-Al Junction on Road 40, about three miles from the airport. A shuttle service runs passengers there from the airport.
