About Cambodia Angkor Air

Founded in 2009, Cambodia Angkor Air is headquartered in Phnom Penh and is the country's flag carrier. It was established through an agreement between the Cambodian government and Vietnam Airlines, with which it also has a codeshare agreement and is a member of the StarTeam alliance. Phnom Penh International Airport is the location of its main hub, whilst secondary hubs include Siem Reap International Airport and Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Vietnamese's Ho Chi Minh City.

The airline currently flies to 20 destinations with its fleet of 7 aircraft, the majority of which are to destinations nearby, specifically cities within China. These Chinese destinations include Zhengzhou, Ningbo, Shenyang and Chengdu whilst Vietnamese destinations the airline services include the cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Cambodia Angkor Air also operates flights to Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Thailand, Singapore Changi Airport and Hong Kong International Airport.

Online check-in

Online check-in is not available on Cambodia Angkor Air flights, therefore in order to check in passengers should ensure they get to the airport in good time so they do not risk missing their flight. Counters for international flights are open 2 hours before the departure of the flight and 90 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights.

In order to begin the check-in process, passengers must have their ticket with them as well as their photo identification. Check in counters for international flights close 60 minutes before the departure of the flight and 30 minutes before the flight departs for domestic flights within Cambodia.

Hand luggage allowance

Passengers travelling on Cambodia Angkor Air flights are allowed to take free hand luggage with them on board. Economy Class passengers are permitted to take 1 piece of luggage whilst Business Class passengers can take 2 pieces.

The maximum weight of each piece of baggage is 7 kg with a predetermined size limit of 56 x 36 x 23 cm. Passengers are also allowed to take a small personal item with them such as a handbag or camera. Liquids are allowed on board but the containers should not be able to hold more than 100 ml. All containers must be placed into a re-sealable plastic bag.

The amount of charges incurred for excess baggage depends on whether the passenger is flying within a domestic flight within Cambodia or to an international destination.
