The airport is quite close to the city centre and can be easily reached by trains and buses. From the airport, take a train to reach Amsterdam Central Station. Another option is to take the Amsterdam Airport shuttle service, which is a comfortable service run by Connexxion. You can also hop on bus 197 to reach central Amsterdam in no time. To get to Amsterdam South, all you need to do is take bus 310. There are, of course, taxis and cabs available, but they may cost slightly more.
