Chambery is a picture-perfect town in the Rhône-Alpes region of France. Boasting a stunning natural setting, the town is encircled by spectacular views of the French Alps. Passengers on a flight to Chambery Savoie International Airport will discover a small airport that provides a gateway to Chambery, Aix-les-Bains and the many world-class ski resorts in the region. The airport is approximately 30-minutes' drive from the city centre.
There are several low-cost airlines operating cheap flights to Chambery including: Flybe and British Airways.
Chambery Airport is in Le Viviers du Lac, next to the Bourget Lake, approximately 5 miles north of Chambery and 3.5 miles south of Aix-les-Bains.
The airport is just off the A43 motorway and car rental agencies are located to the right of the terminal building. There are scheduled coach services operated by Trans'Neige that run from the airport to the ski resorts in the area. The bus station is close to the terminal. Taxis are available in front of the terminal building and the journey time to the centre of Chambery is about ten minutes.
