All flights to Geneva land at Geneva Airport, which is unofficially known as Cointrin Airport. It is very near to central Geneva and is very well-connected to the city so moving to and from the airport is very easy.

The airport is located 20km southeast of the centre of Lyon city.
To reach the TGV rail station or the city from the airport, take the Rhonexpress tram. Travel time will be approximately 30 minutes. Coaches also link the airport with the city centre and surrounding towns. Regular shuttle and ski shuttles are also offered to take passengers to their destinations. You can take a UNIRESO train or bus to or from Geneva-Cornavin station which is in Central Geneva. The trains leave every 12 minutes or so during rush hour, and the buses leave every 8-15 minutes, and the journey is a mere six minutes. Urban buses also navigate to and from the airport's check-in level near the train station. Taxis are also an option and cost around 35CHF - 45CHF to the city centre. Several hotels offer free shuttle services.
