Flights departing from London
London is one of the most gorgeous cities on the planet and it is well known for its great mixture of historical monuments and contemporary architecture. This city is served by several airports such as Luton, Gatwick and Stansted, among others. As this is one of the most important international financial arenas and a world capital, there is a very efficient transport system to handle the millions of passengers that visit the city, for business or pleasure, every year. Flights from London to Bologna may take off from any of the six airports that serve the city.
Getting to London airport
To get on one of the London to Bologna flights, confirm first from which airport your plane is leaving. If your plane is taking off from London City Airport, you can consider yourself lucky. It is located within the city limits and can easily be reached from London city centre by taxi or bus. However, if your plane is taking off from Southend or Stansted airports in Essex, you will have to start your journey earlier and probably connect metro and trains. Heathrow and Gatwick airports are at quite a distance too, but they are connected to the city centre by high speed trains. Luton Airport is connected by train from Liverpool Street Station in central London.
