How to get to the city centre

The airport is conveniently located in Florence and the easiest way to get to downtown Florence is by bus or taxi. If you choose to travel by bus, all you need to do is take an ATAF bus. These buses are available outside the airport and make a stop at the Central Railway Station. You can also take a taxi to downtown Florence, and these are preferred by international travellers as they are not as expensive as they would be in other European capitals.
