Trips to Naples

Naples travel

Vibrant Naples is Italy's third largest city on the coast of the Campania region. Whether on business or pleasure, visitors on trips to Naples will discover the birthplace of the pizza and a colourful city full of contradictions and cultural surprises. Resting on foundations dating back to the 9th century BC, Naples boasts one of the oldest historical centres in the world, teeming with fascinating monuments and narrow streets that exude an authentic Italian vibe. Boutiques on Via Toledo lead to the Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace and the Teatro di San Carlo. Across the glistening bay lie the islands of Capri and Ischia, lined with stunning beaches and dotted with villas covered in bougainvillea.

Things to do and places to see in Naples

The UNESCO World Heritage Site "centro storico" (historic centre) has enough sights to keep you busy during the entirety of your stay. Explore beyond and discover The National Archaeological Museum of Naples, one of Italy's most important archaeology museums and the Royal Palace. Hike up to San Martino for spellbinding city views, or head to the port to catch a ferry to the islands of Ischia and Capri.
