Online check-in can also be carried out on a mobile device with the Alitalia mobile app and an electronic boarding pass saved in the passenger's phone. Alternatively, passengers can check-in at the airport Fast Check-in kiosks.
Finally, travellers on Alitalia flights need to be aware that children under the age of 11, 14 year-old children flying alone, and passengers with special baggage may not use the Alitalia online check-in service. In addition, the service is not available for flights departing from Berlin, Budapest, Damascus, Kiev, Malaga, Malta, Moscow, Rio de Janeiro, Saint Petersburg, Sofia and Tirana, or those flights to Damascus, etc.
Passengers with hand luggage can proceed directly to the departure gate whilst those travelling with checked baggage will need to pass by the airport bag drop desk.

Checked baggage weighing and measuring more than the aforementioned weight and dimensions restrictions will incur an excess baggage fee and will be stored in the hold. Exceptions apply on tickets bought with the Light Fare which have a cost.
Everything was very good
Clean modern aircraft with pleasant crews.
the seats were so tight tha we had to spent most of the time standing up
Very friendly efficient service.
I was not aware that I had booked a rate without luggage and with no closed seats guaranteed. It seems to me that the Airline assigned us 2 seats in different rows in purpose, did not put a bit of effort to put us together. Very disappointing. I had to pay for the check in luggage as it was not included; I had the feeling to fly with a low cost airline.
Budget price, so experience related, long wait for connecting flight,in Rome, but grateful for budget cost, no complaints
I was charged in GBP then creditted back, then charged in Euro. Whar exactly happened?
Long delays Having to change airport and missing my flight costing huge extra
Amazing crew on the way to rome
A budget airline experience. Being part of the British Airways Group, we were suprised that light snacks were not offered but even accepting that, a glass of water would be the least that should have been provided. We shall not be travelling with Iberia again.
polite staff, always makes a difference, so this trip was indeed a good service
Great service, would highly recommend
Need to have a few more advisory screen at the airport terminals
No entertainment system. For none budget airline that was a bit disappointing.
