Trips to Split

Split travel

Split is Croatia's second largest city, boasting a stunning palace, ancient ruins and gorgeous beaches. It was originally founded as a Greek colony around 2,400 years ago. Much of its history revolves around Roman Emperor Diocletan, who commanded a palace to be built as his residence near Salona. Afterwards, Split was under the rule of the Venetians, Austrians, French and Germans. When it was part of Yugoslavia, the city experienced tremendous growth. Economic boom was dampened with Croatia's independence, but it is steadily improving over the past years. As a direct consequence, flights to Split have also increased proportionally, bringing visitors to the city for holidays or business. Check out our offers flight + hotel to Split!
