Air Arabia Maroc

About Air Arabia Maroc

Founded in April 2009, the budget airline, Air Arabia Maroc, is headquartered at Mohammed V International Airport in the Nouaceur Province of Morocco and commenced operations a month later in May. It was created as a joint venture between the airlines Regional Air Lines and Air Arabia, the latter of which is its parent company. The airline currently flies to 23 destinations within Morocco and Europe with its fleet of 4 aircraft, all of which are Airbus A320-214.

The Moroccan destinations serviced include flights to the cities of Marrakech, Nador, Fes and Casablanca. Air Arabia Maroc also operates flights to French destinations such as Lyon, Montpellier and Toulouse as well as the German destinations of Frankfurt, Freiburg and Cologne. The Spanish cities of Barcelona, Madrid and Palma de Mallorca are also serviced by the airline, as is the city of London in the United Kingdom, Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Istanbul in Turkey.

Online check-in

Online check-in is available on Air Arabia Maroc flights from 12 hours before the departure of the flight, unless travelling from Sharjah in which case online check-in is open from 24 hours prior to the flight departure. In order to check in online, passengers must first enter their reservation number, the date they are travelling and the airport they are departing from.

During check-in, passengers can choose the seats they would like to sit in as well as their food preferences. Once the check-in process has been completed, Air Arabia Maroc passengers are able to print out their boarding pass or have it emailed to them in order to print out another time.

Hand luggage allowance

Passengers travelling on Air Arabia Maroc flights are allowed to take 1 piece of free hand luggage with them on board as long as it does not weigh more than 10 kg and is not larger than 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Hand luggage should be stored in the overhead lockers or under the seat in front of the passenger.

It is also possible for passengers to take liquids with them as long as none of the containers can hold more than 100 ml. All liquid containers must be placed into a re-sealable see-through plastic bag and the total volume of liquid may not exceed 1 litre.

Checked baggage allowance

Passengers are able to choose the amount of checked luggage they would like to take with them on their Air Arabia Maroc flight. It is possible to select different weight categories from 20 kg, 30 kg or 40 kg. There is no limit to the amount of pieces allowed, although the maximum weight of any single item is 32 kg and the maximum size is 160 cm when all dimensions have been added together.

The cost of choosing the amount of luggage required is considerably cheaper when pre-booking compared to doing so at the airport on the date of departure. Passengers are advised to label each piece of luggage with their name and address.
