Cologne Bonn International Airport serves passengers on trips to Cologne and Bonn. It is the seventh largest airport in Germany in terms of passenger traffic and features two terminals: 1 and 2. It has modern facilities including shops, restaurants, cash machines, car rental and passenger lounges.

The terminal and the Dusseldorf Flughafen railway station are connected by the SkyTrain. A bus service also operates to connect the airport with the railway station. Coaches are available to drop passengers to different destinations in the city. If driving from the city centre to the airport, take the Autobahn A44, exit Flughafen Dusseldorf and then look for the sign Abflug or departures.

The airport is also serviced by trains that are connected to inter-city trains if you are travelling to other destinations. The station is connected to Terminal 2 and Terminal 1-C.
