San Francisco airports

The San Francisco International Airport is the main airport that serves San Francisco. It is the second busiest in the state of California and the seventh in the US. Passengers on cheap flights to San Francisco may arrive at one of the four terminals at the airport: 1, 2, 3 and International. All flights from abroad arrive at the International Terminal with the exception of flights with US customs pre-clearance. Two airside connectors allow passengers to move freely in between terminals.

Another option is to use SamTrans to connect from the airport to the city. Use routes 140, 292, KX, 297 and 398. By car, drive on US Route 101 and Interstate 280. Other alternatives include taxis and shuttles.
