The San Francisco International Airport is the main airport that serves San Francisco. It is the second busiest in the state of California and the seventh in the US. Passengers on cheap flights to San Francisco may arrive at one of the four terminals at the airport: 1, 2, 3 and International. All flights from abroad arrive at the International Terminal with the exception of flights with US customs pre-clearance. Two airside connectors allow passengers to move freely in between terminals.

SFO Airport is located approximately 13 miles from the city centre.
Passengers can take the free AirTrain in between the four terminals. To get to the city centre, take the BART which links the airport, San Francisco city and the Bay Area.
