Tenerife has two airports: Tenerife South Airport (also known as Tenerife South-Reina Sofia Airport) and Tenerife North Airport (also known as Los Rodeos). These two airports serve the island, but flights from London to Tenerife arrive at the Tenerife-South Airport (TFS), which is the larger of the two.
Tenerife-South Airport is one of the busiest airports in the Canary Islands and is located just 60km from Santa Cruz, the capital city of Tenerife. Several local buses are available at the arrivals hall entrance for travel to the city centre and other routes. You can also take a taxi or rent a car for transfer to your destination.
