Founded in 1996, the Tahiti-based French airline, Air Tahiti Nui, began operations 2 years later in 1998. Its headquarters are located in Papeete, Tahiti whilst its main hub can be found at Faa'a International Airport. It has a number of codeshare agreements with other airlines including Qantas, Vietnam Airlines, Korean Air, Air France, American Airlines and Japan Airlines. The airline currently operates flights to 5 destinations around the world with its fleet of 5 aircraft, consisting of Airbus A340-300 planes.

The 5 destinations that Air Tahiti Nui flies to include Auckland International Airport in New Zealand and Los Angeles International Airport in the United States. The airline also operates flights to Charles de Gaulle International Airport in the French capital of Paris as well as to Narita International Airport in Japan's capital city, Tokyo. The other destination that the airline flies to is Faa'a International Airport in the French Polynesian city of Papeete.

Online check-in
