By bus, use Deutsche Bahn's timetable to check departure times to the airport. Other options include using a rental car or taxi. Coaches are available to drop passengers to different destinations in the city. If driving from the city centre to the airport, take the Autobahn A44, exit Flughafen Dusseldorf and then look for the sign Abflug or departures.

    Transport options

    If driving, take the airport's exit and join A59 which is connected to both Cologne and Bonn cities. Route 161 from Cologne and SB60 from Bonn will take you to the airport and back to town. The airport is also serviced by trains that are connected to inter-city trains if you are travelling to other destinations. The station is connected to Terminal 2 and Terminal 1-C.

By car, take the A40 and A44 to reach the airport. Taxis (pre-booked or at the stands) are also available to take passengers to the centre and other destinations.
