although the flight was very good the food was not so good. perhaps more choice for vegetarians would be good.
Beautiful descent through scattered cumulus clouds into Auckland in the evening sun - priceless! More then made up for the sensory assault of the gauntlet of consumerism at Sydney airport.
The outward flight was operated by Air Tahiti Nui. The flight was exceedingly good, the crew were great. One of the best flight I've done. However, the return flight was operated by Air New Zealand. Crew were ok and professional, but any food or drinks HAD to be purchased. For the price we had to pay, this was an absolute rip-off on a 5 1/2 hour flight! Not impressed at all!
Infotainment systems were excellent
Both flights were ok
I loved the airport but found it strange that after going through security I was able to go back to main area to get a drink .
Airline travel in NZ is always expensive but it's worth paying a little extra to use the National carrier - whose flights always seem to leave on time. Sadly that can't be said for some of the cheaper airlines.
A short and simple trip. No problems
it was cancelled
