About Royal Air Maroc

Royal Air Maroc is the largest airline in Morocco and the country's flag carrier. The company was founded in 1957, following a merger between Air Atlas and Air Maroc, and mainly operates from the Mohammed V International Airport. Royal Air Maroc is in majority government owned with Air France and Iberia comprising minor shareholders. Royal Air Maroc is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization.

Online check-in

Online check-in is available 48 hours up to 2 hours prior to scheduled flight departure. During the online check-in process it is possible to select your seat and print out your boarding pass. However, passengers on Royal Air Maroc flights should be aware that the online check-in service is only available from some destinations so it is recommended that they check prior to setting off to the airport. Finally, those passengers with their boarding pass may proceed directly to airport security whilst customers travelling with suitcases need to pass by baggage drop-off or the Royal Air Maroc check-in desk.

Hand luggage allowance

On Royal Air Maroc flights, all passengers are entitled to one item of cabin baggage weighing a maximum 10kg and measuring up to 115cm (height, length and width). Aside from their cabin baggage allowance, passengers are also allowed a laptop computer.

Checked baggage allowance

Checked baggage allowance depends on the flight destination and class of travel. It varies from 1 or 2 pieces of baggage weighing up to 23kg each. Travellers are advised to check the baggage allowance for their individual journey. Finally, items of baggage weighing over 32kg or measuring more than 203cm (height, length and width) will be taken to the airline freight service. If passengers choose to take baggage exceeding the aforementioned weight and dimension restrictions, they will have to pay an excess baggage fee.

Am extremely enjoyable trip, RAM were oustanding both for affordability and for board entertainment/food. The crew were professional and well mannered. I would use RAM again and would encourage other family members travel with airline.

my trip from cassablance was a night mare very bad experience fly delay for several hours and no food no drink I deserved £100 back payment because if the stress difficulties I encounter for the first time since 20 years if flying around the world.I should be compensated of 100.

The flight no At554 from Lagos to Casblanca was smooth. The landing was excellent to the extent that I went up to appreciate the Pilot and request him to keep it up. But the scene displayed by some passengers was very appalling arising from our inherent attitude to carry multiple hand bags into the aircraft therefore exhausting other passengers spaces in the compartment. The passenger who sat with me told me it is habitual with these particular passengers from a tribe in Nigeria behaving this way disregarding the comfort of others in the plane. That he is tired of it being a regular on Royal Maroc Airline. To the extent of discounting using the Airline.

Thought air maroc were very good in general though when there was a problem boarding at casablanca they were very unhelpful and non communicative. Airport could do with more comfortable areas to wait..7hrs on a plastic seat is not my idea of fun.
