Aegean Airlines is the largest carrier in Greece, taking more passengers to more destinations on more planes than any other national airline. How do I check in online with Aegean Airlines?

The Aegean Airlines check-in option is available from 48 hours to at least half an hour before scheduled take-off. Simply visit the site and choose the "check-in" option. The site will ask you for your ticket number and name before allowing you to choose your seat. Your boarding pass can be printed on paper or carried on your mobile phone. If you prefer to use a kiosk or counter, both options are available. Once you’ve checked in, you can use the convenient drop-off counters before finding your gate. You’ll have to arrive at the gate 20 minutes before your flight. If you have connections, you can use the online check-in tool for all flights included on your journey. Minors, special needs passengers, and large groups are required to check-in manually at the desk. Your smartphone boarding pass can be used at all local, and some global, airports. What is my checked baggage allowance on Aegean Airlines

The Aegean Airlines baggage allowance for checked-in luggage mustn’t exceed 23 kg and 158 cm. Business class travellers are allowed two 32 kg items of luggage of the same dimensions. Alternatively, GoLight travellers receive no hold luggage allowance, but are allowed to carry collapsible strollers with children younger than three years. Dangerous items and materials aren’t allowed in the hold. Inflammable and explosive items like ammunition and liquid fuels are barred, as are chemicals like acids and corrosives. Fragile items must be carried at the passenger’s own risk. The Star Alliance provides a luggage tracing tool if your bags are lost. What hand luggage can I take on Aegean Airlines?

The Aegean Airlines hand luggage size restrictions allow you to carry an 8 kg carry-on bag with a size limit of 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm. Airbus aircraft passengers can carry hand luggage that’s 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm. Additional weights and dimensions are subject to a fee, which was recently reduced to help clients avoid surcharges. You’re also allowed to carry a personal item like a backpack or laptop case, as long as it fits beneath your seat. Infants are allowed one item of hand luggage for food and care products. Babies who require a chair must also have an infant car seat, which isn’t charged for. Any liquids must be carried in 100ml bottles inside a sealed bag. Liquid medications must be supported by a doctor’s letter or prescription. Duty-free items must be sealed, and e-cigarettes must be kept in your hand luggage with lithium batteries. Smart bags aren’t allowed unless their batteries are removable. Firearms and sharp objects including scissors are banned from the cabin, as are blunt sports items that can cause injury. Really enjoyed this flight, and when the food came they were really easygoing about the fact I didn't order the vegan meal (I never seem to be able to find where the meal is specified when booking) and gave it to me no problems, I have had awful experiences of angry staff and ending up not eating with other airlines.

The airline only does this connection once a week from Vienna to Athens and then onto Sofia. Only Austrian airlines gives you a direct flight to Sofia and I think this was very long and tiresome especially for the cost it wasn?t worth it
