Online check-in

Online check-in is available for all Royal Jordanian flights from 24 hours up until 4 hours before departure. In order to check in online, passengers must first enter their travel details as well as their personal information. Passengers can then review their flight itinerary before choosing the seat they would like to sit in. This completes the check-in process. Once the passenger has checked-in, they are then able to print off their boarding pass or have it sent by email in order to print it at a later date. Checking in online will save time queuing at the airport on the date of departure.

Hand luggage allowance

The amount of hand baggage passengers are allowed to take with them on a Royal Jordanian flight depends on the ticket they have purchased. Those who have purchased an Economy Class ticket are allowed to take 1 piece of luggage with them as long as it does not weigh more than 7 kg and is no larger than the maximum dimensions of 51 x 41 x 23 cm.

Passengers with Crown Class tickets are allowed to take 2 pieces of baggage with them as long as they do not exceed 7 kg and 51 x 41 x 23 cm in combined width, height and depth. Passengers on this fare are also permitted to take small personal items on board such as a camera, small handbag or laptop.

Checked baggage allowance

The amount of hold baggage passengers are allowed to take with them on a Royal Jordanian flight depends on the type of ticket they have purchased as well as their fight destination. For flights to and from North America as well as flights between Amman and Cairo, Economy Class passengers are allowed to take 2 pieces of baggage weighing up to 23 kg each, whilst Crown Class passengers are granted the option to also take 2 pieces, but weighing up to 32 kg each.

For Royal Jordanian flights to all other destinations, Economy Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of luggage weighing up to 30 kg whilst Crown Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of luggage, one weighing up to 30 kg and the other up to 23 kg. Infants can take 1 piece of luggage weighing up to 10 kg.

Few and not very good tasting food on flight. Screens are not working well, when not at all. Generally a very expensive flight for the distance, especially given the poor service quality.
