Heathrow is located to the west of London and has four main passenger terminals.
How to get to the airport:
- Underground – the Piccadilly Line connects Heathrow to the Underground network with services from around 5 am to the early hours of the morning.
- Heathrow Express – trains from London Paddington every 15 minutes at peak time. Journey time 15 minutes.
- Taxi – around 40 minutes from Central London.
- Airport Shuttle Bus – around 40 minutes from Victoria coach station.
Services: a wide range of catering and retail outlets across the airport. Free Wi-Fi, baby changing, children's play areas, showers, toilets, prayer room.

Gatwick airport is south of London. It has two main passenger terminals and is the UK's second busiest after Heathrow.
How to get to the airport:
- Gatwick Express – up to four trains per hour from London Victoria. Journey time 30 minutes.
- Taxi – over an hour depending on traffic.
- Airport Bus – Departs from Victoria Coach Station. Journey time around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Services: Both terminals have a selection of restaurants, bars and shops. The airport offers free Wi-Fi, and business services and airport lounges at an additional charge.
