Good experience easy with no major issues
Istanbul airport Excellent
Busy and a bit bewildering but otherwise fairly European
Passport control rather slow
Poor signage incredibly rude immigration staff long queues and a host of ‘sharks’ selling extortionate priced taxies. Beware.
Too far too empty too plain too big too new. Not ready for use yet. No underground transport or proper public transport only taxis or coach. Distance to the city centre is over 1 hour either way. Very long distance to gates. On arrival the airplane takes over 30 minutes to park. Long walk back to passport control.
Toilets not adequate.
I don’t like the way they treated me
