About China Southern Airlines

China Southern Airlines is one of the world's biggest airlines, and is based in the Southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, with major hubs at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport. It also has two smaller hubs at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and Urumqi Diwopu International Airport, as well as various focus cities within China, including Chengdu, Harbin and Xi'an. It has the biggest air-fleet in Asia, and currently has over 500 aircraft. The airline expanded after mergers with Zhongyuan Airlines, China Northern Airlines and China Xinjiang Airlines.

China Southern Airlines flights serve nearly 200 destinations over numerous routes. Popular among those are flights to Auckland, London Heathrow, New York and Sydney. It is a member of the SkyTeam alliance and was the first Chinese carrier to join a global alliance. It also has codeshare arrangements in place with Asiana Airlines, Japan Airlines, WestJet, Qantas, Pakistan International Airlines and Thai Airways.

I do not know why KLM let China Southern risk their reputation with a company who clearly look like they never worked in the airline business before, no price does not have to mean poor quality, even a flight on Aerofolt twenty years ago had a better way ow to cheat people. They are only interested in the money and the surly attitude was endemic in many areas when dealing with the public. Worts of is if you are dealing with foreign passengers the staff HAVE TO SPEAK BETTER ENGLISH! if they want to deal with English speakers. Some times it was shocking and the seating space for a long haul flight was Ryanair inspired.
