Understanding your easyJet baggage allowance
With easyJet Standard, you get one small under-seat bag, perfect for your phone, wallet, medications or a paperback for the flight. A large cabin bag and hold luggage are included with Inclusive Plus or can be added separately to Standard.
Your baggage limits in brief:
* Personal item: Max 45 x 36 x 20cm (18 x 14 x 8in), including handles and wheels. This must fit under the seat in front of you.
* Large cabin bag: Max 56 x 45 x 25cm (22 x 18 x 10in), with a maximum weight of 15kg (33lb). You'll stow this in the overhead locker.
* Checked bag: You can buy 15kg (33lb) or 23kg (50lb) hold bags. Add weight in 3kg chunks up to a 32kg (71lb) maximum. L+W+H must not exceed 275cm (108in).

Measure handles and wheels
Make sure to measure your large cabin bag and personal item including their handles and wheels. It's always best to measure your bag once it's fully packed rather than trusting the label, as soft bags can easily bulge beyond the allowed size.
Keep everything in your under-seat bag
A Standard fare includes one small under-seat bag. Make sure you pop your handbag, laptop, or airport purchases inside it before boarding, unless your booking also includes a large cabin bag.
A bag outside your allowance may cost extra
easyJet often checks bags using a sizer at the gate. If yours turns out to be larger than your booked allowance, you'll be charged a fee and your bag will have to go into the hold.

What to expect with Standard
With a Standard ticket, everyone gets one personal item (a small bag that goes under the seat in front of you). There's technically a 15kg weight limit, though it's rarely checked at the gate. You just need to be able to lift and carry it yourself and pop it safely under the seat in front.
If you need overhead locker space, simply add a large cabin bag (for the overhead locker) or pick an Up Front or Extra Legroom seat, subject to availability. You can also book hold luggage separately if you've got a bit extra to pack.

What to expect with Inclusive Plus
With Inclusive Plus, you're all set with a personal item (small under-seat bag), a large cabin bag for the overhead locker (up to 15kg / 33lb), and a 23kg (50lb) hold bag. Give your luggage a test lift before you get to the airport, you'll need to hoist it into the overhead locker yourself.
You can buy extra weight online in 3kg increments. The maximum per bag is 32kg. Do this before departure. It's much cheaper than paying at the airport.
Groups on the same booking can pool their total hold weight across bags. Each bag can be up to 32kg and 275cm in total dimensions, though sports equipment can't be pooled.
For example, you, your partner and two kids on the same booking can share 2 hold bags (46kg total) however you like. One person could pack 32kg, the other 14kg.

Infant and child equipment
If you travel with an infant or child, easyJet lets you check two items free of charge, such as a pushchair, travel cot, car seat, booster seat or baby back carrier. You can usually take these to the bag-drop desk or boarding gate.

Got a surfboard or golf clubs? You'll need to book sports equipment separately. easyJet has specific size and weight limits depending on the type.
Extra hold-bag weight
If your hold bag exceeds the weight you booked, easyJet charges per kilogram at the airport. It's much cheaper to add extra weight online before you fly. Remember, 32kg (71lb) is the absolute maximum per bag.
Pooling hold-bag weight
You can pool purchased hold-bag weight with people on the same booking. Your combined bags must stay within the booking's total allowance, and each individual bag must remain within the 32kg (71lb) limit.
Large cabin bags, seats and boarding
If you’ve booked Inclusive Plus, your large cabin bag is already sorted. On a Standard ticket, you can add a bag separately or upgrade to an Up Front or Extra Legroom seat, which comes with both your large cabin bag and Speedy Boarding.
Space is subject to availability, so it's always best to double-check your boarding pass or booking details before you set off to make sure overhead locker space is included.
